Timur Novikov offered to reshoot the film “Other Problems” on the plot of the opera and allocated money to pay for the editing of Betacam on television. Then Andrius went to the library of the French Institute in the Chapel and chose the opera “Mireille” by Charles Gounod. The costumes were created by Oleg Maslov and Viktor Kuznetsov.

]]> The work has the same name as James George Frazer’s opus “The Golden Bough”. The main character is the equestrian statue that can be found in the South-East corner of the Central Park in New York. The work has only a small allusion to the bough itself. It is a tail painted gold. It gradually becomes clear that this is a horse galloping in a snowstorm. The combination of yellow gold and white snow is the esthetic component of the video.
