The film “Green on the other side” is a series of breaches across the empty sound of the advertising cover, a clash of contexts causing emotional stress, sometimes a surrealistic gag, sometimes a frightening, alarming scene. The artificialness and falseness of the footage selected is deconstructed intentionally by careless use of the chromakey. The characters reveal their fear of the camera, their lack of confidence, all-too human qualities, while the makers of the stock footage intended them to represent an example of the Ideal. The green color from the saying “the grass is always greener on the other sides”, signifying the constant aspiration towards this Ideal, becomes a guide through an endless corridor, where you can easily lose yourself among social roles and clichés.
