]]> A video work The Sun Monopoly by Dimitri Lurie explores the phenomenon of sunlight deficit in modern cities. The observation takes a point of view of an urban inhabitant from a historical quarter of norwegian capital – Oslo, who often has no other choice to enjoy sunlight, but reflected from glass surfaces of high buildings erected by the Sun Monopoly.

]]> A visual poetry based on the fascination from Persian ornaments, architecture, landscape and music.

“Flashes” is a method developed by the author Dimitri Lurie for reconstruction of a sensual experience reflected in ragged memories as a result of explorations. Here finding a door in the wall of times that divides once a fairytale like Persia, with its ornaments and architecture, from landscapes of nowadays Iran.

“Flashes of Persia” won the Norwegian Shipbrokers’ art-prize under the annual National Art Exhibition in 2007.
