Dancing reality

Video Artist: Olga Tsvetkova
Country: Year: Duration: 12 min 43 sec

Description:

During the pandemic, choreographer Olga Tsvetkova and photographer Ekaterina Malygina joined forces and moved to the shores of the Gulf of Finland. Their collaboration was driven by the need to continue inspiring people confined within four walls.

Our artistic collaboration began with regular walks, which gradually turned into a hunt for the choreography of the surrounding world. We started viewing nature as the only stage available at that time. Using our heightened sensitivity, a camera on a phone, and the naked body, we aimed to draw the viewer’s attention to the dancing reality around us.
