For 10 minutes, the same text is repeated, with the same pauses, with the same intonation, in the likeness of a phone ringing. One phrase: “everyone has a lot to do, a lot to do, a lot to do, everyone is busy” – for all the abundance of contacts, in a noisy and swarming city, all these are meaningless words, loneliness turned into a routine.

Alena Tereshko born in 1986 in Ishim (Russia), lives and works in St. Petersburg.

She graduated from Saint Petersburg State Art and Industry Academy named after Stieglitz (2013) and from school for young artists at PROARTE Foundation (2013).A member of art group “Parazit” (since 2012).
