Ostrov Nega

Born in 1970 in the city of Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region (Ukraine).
From 1987 to 1992 studied at the Krivoy Rog State Pedagogical Institute, Department of natural sciences, specializing in biology, chemistry
Since 1988 – an active participant of the Krivoy Rog band of the KTM club.

In 1992 published a samizdat collection of “Psycholirics”. Since 1993 to the present time lives and works in Moscow
From 2009 to 2010 – participant of art group Oleg Tyrkin “SCHOT”
Since 2010 – member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia (section of the latest trends).

2011, School of Visual Arts, course directed by Tatyana Danilyans
2011, December, with Vladimir Smolyar and Alexander Pettay established the art group “DADANET”
2012, October, Laureate of the LomonosovArt 2012 Prize – for an intellectual contribution to contemporary art (Faculty of Philosophy, Moscow State University)
2012, October, a collection of conceptual poetry “Poems”
2013, March, nominee of the Sergey Kuryokhin Prize for the best work of visual art
2013, September, joined the art group “Bestiary” (project “Aromorphosis”)
