Apartments, which have become Korea’s representative residential space, are not simply houses, but have become an inevitable apex of economic and cultural desires. Focusing on the mountain behind the apartment complex, it questions the house again through neighbors as others and the outskirts abandoned in the development process.


Heejeong Jeong

Heejeong Jeong was born in 1975 in Seoul, South Korea. She holds an MFA in Digital Media Design from Hongik University’s International Design School for Advanced Studies and is actively working in the field of video art. Her work reveals unexpected dangers and alluring moments in everyday life through distinctive color palettes, compelling compositions, and symbolic imagery that resists easy interpretation. She was invited to CYFEST16 in Yerevan in 2024 and has participated in numerous group exhibitions and screenings, including VIDEOFORMES in Clermont-Ferrand and the Torrance Art Museum in Los Angeles. In 2017, she received the Audience Award at the Seoul International NewMedia Festival for her work Red Room
