Description:

This video shows everything that is connected in Harms’ poems with flight, nature, speed, and movement. In the name of the installation, I use Harms’ method of connecting numbers in the logic of absurd.


Ludmila Belova

Ludmila Belova was born in Kamchatka and now lives and works in St. Petersburg. In 1980 she graduated from Abramtzevo Art College and in 1991 became a member of the Russian Artists Union.

Her works were presented at numerous solo exhibitions at such galleries and museums as Art collegium, Navicula Artis, Lyuda, AL Gallery, ART re.FLEX, National Center for Contemporary Arts, Youth Educational Center of the State Hermitage Museum, the Gallery of Contemporary Art D-137, Anna Akhmatova Museum in St. Peterburg and ESCAPE gallery in Moscow.

The artist also participated in group exhibitions and festivals in Russia and Europe such as CYBERFEST 2013 and 2014 (Berlin, Germany), Art Prospect supported by CEC ARTS LINK in 2013 (St. Petersburg, Russia), The Other Capital project at NCCA, Museum of Moscow, in 2014 (Moscow, Russia), ARTVILNIUS-14 project (Vilnius, Lithuania), “The other home” at Anna Frants gallery (St. Petersburg, Russia), the last one being part of the parallel program of MANIFESTA 10, which took place in 2014. In 2015 her works were included in On My Way exhibition, which was part of the parallel program of 56th Venice Biennale. In 2017 Ludmila took part in CYFEST-10 at the Scientific Research Museum of the Russian Academy of Arts, Museum of Applied Arts of St. Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design.
