Lisa Morozova
Lisa Morozova was born on May 4, 1973 in Moscow. In 1995 she graduated the Psychology Department of the Moscow State Pedagogical University. From 1995 to 2000 she studied at the St. Petersburg State Academy of Theater Arts, then at the International Workshop of the Synthesis and Animation Theater “Interstudio”, and she attended the workshop of paratheater forms of Yuri Sobolev. From 1995 to 2000 she was a member of the art group “Reserve exit” (Tsarskoe Selo – Moscow). In 1999-2000 she studied at the School of Modern Art (course “New Artistic Strategies”) under the Soros Foundation and IPSI in Moscow. In 2000-2008 she was a member of the ESCAPE program. Since 2004, the artist has been conducting her own social and educational project “Performance Art Studio”. In 2005 she defended her thesis “Socio-psychological research of artistic provocative (on the example of modern avant-garde art)”, dedicated to the impact of the performance. She is the participant of 170 exhibitions and festivals in 20 countries of the world, and she conducts active teaching activity.
